Spider Vein Treatment

There is zero down time after treatments. The number of sclerotherapy sessions needed is patient-dependent, meaning number of spider veins and how pesky the spider veins want to be during treatment. Free virtual or email screenings are available to determine if you are a candidate. If you prefer, VR headsets are available during your treatment to make the experience more relaxing- although you may want to keep your eyes on the procedure- sometimes it looks like a vanishing act!

During your initial consult, Dr. Thomas will determine if you are a candidate for sclerotherapy spider vein treatment. There is NEVER a charge if you are not a candidate. Dr. Thomas performs spider vein removal on the lower legs but there are some areas in the lower leg and feet that cannot be treated with sclerotherapy. These pre-treatment assessments ensure you don’t waste time or money.
What happens after Sclerotherapy for Spider Veins?
During your treatment it may seem like the veins are disappearing before your eyes…and that’s because they are! But just remember your spider veins may return when you get home and may even look darker for a few days to weeks after. This is not only normal but a GOOD SIGN. When the treatment is doing what it’s supposed to the vein contracts which makes the vein look darker.
This is why all follow-ups are INCLUDED, because your follow-up visits are actually the most important part of spider-vein treatment.
