Tennis Shoe Buyer’s Guide for the start of 2024

This year has been a mixed bag for tennis shoes and pickleball shoes. We’ve seen some recycled concepts as well as some fresh takes on the modern game especially in the category of hard court sliding. As a player who loves to slide on clay ( and carpet) but not so much on hard courts, i’ve found that shoes are largely going away from my style of play and have heard this same sentiment from other tennis players who at most drag into shots.

The 2024 Tennis Shoe Buyer’s guide is intended to find you the best shoe for every game style, foot type and injury or chronic condition you may bring to the tennis or pickleball court. The guide updates about twice a year or more frequent if new tennis shoe releases come out fast and furious.
